We found this growing in the mulch behind our shrubs. So, naturally, I picked them and put them in a couple of trash bags filled with water, inside a bucket, in the back yard, to ferment into a nice dye. What else would you do with weird fungus in your yard?
ps. I'm pretty sure it's cracked yellow bolete, which is considered edible, therefore not toxic. So I think it's safe to have around the house.
