Don't Tell Nanny Ogg

My hedgehog mittens are done.  What a labor of love; those quills are tedious!

But aren't they incredibly cute?  The pattern and/or kit are available from Morehouse Merinos.  It uses about 4 oz of sport weight yarn for the largest size (which is marked adult medium, but is quite huge).  It would be perfect knit up in handspun, too.  The pattern is straightforward, but something about the layout makes it a bit difficult for me to follow or keep track of where I am. It’s not that anything is wrong, it’s just the paragraph form of the write-up isn’t processing through my brain in an immediate way.
Meanwhile, we're celebrating Chanuka here with gifts, lights, kindergarden sing-a-longs, second grade chumash chagigah, latkes, donuts, cookies, dreidels, and everything else we can think of.
Back row:  Tirtze, Feivel, Sachy, Kayla; front row: Gilad, Adele

So happy Chanuka and everything else from all of us here at chaos central.
