Thanksgiving and the sickies!

Well we got to see all the Kaplan cousins (actually Gill and Shifrin cousins):

Olympia, the littlest;

Olympia and Margo, who can still lift her baby;

Kayla, Gilad, Sachy, Bryce, and Feivel;

Josiekins;

Feivel, Bryce, and Jeremy;

Kayla, Adele, Jeffrey, Bryce, Feivel, and Gilad;

Bryce and Margo.  Don't take his cup.

I thought I had a picture of Ezra, but now I can't find it.  We didn't forget him.

However, the real reason we haven't been available to post any updates is that viral nastiness has taken a turn for the bacterial; Tirtze has a sinus infection (though she's been on antibiotics since just before Thanksgiving); and as of this afternoon, Feivel was diagnosed with real, honest-to-goodness bacterial pneumonia, and started on some antibiotics.  Apparently missing two weeks of school wasn't enough for him; he's shooting for 3.

Just the weekend update

My back is still making me nuts. Addie is crawling all over, has her first tooth in, and is pulling up on the furniture everywhere now. Feivel is throwing up so I don't know what he'll be doing the next few days--but no boy scouts tonight obviously.

Word from MA is that Bryce took his first step. Next comes running. We'll need photos.

That's about it. Gotta go get dinner in the oven and check out that Gilad and Jeffrey have both fallen asleep and that Addie is banging blocks together and singing.

The children won't stop playing with their gifts from cousin Bryce (okay, maybe Margo and Jeremy had a hand in it). The boys got those nerf darts (like playing nerf laser tag) they had been seeing on TV, the girls got iTunes gift cards, Gilad got a hoppity with the Cars logo on it, and Addie got a very, very cute dress outfit. She will be wearing it this Shabbos, I assure you.

They all send a big thank you. The boys, when they're not running around the house shooting darts at each other, are hanging the vests from Sachy's IV downstairs IV pole and using them for target practice. Gilad keeps hoppitying around the house (and falling over on purpose). The girls have great plans for their music downloads. Addie's just cute.
